Truman State University traveled north to Des Moines, IA
for their last game before the Western RFU Collegiate
Championships in Houston, TX April 5-6.  Des Moines is
one of the Midwest's premier teams, but have recently
dropped to Division II during their rebuilding phase.

Truman proved to be fitter and quicker around the pitch,
and was more effective in creating quick attacking rucks
against the bigger men's team.  Half-time score was 19-7.
In the second half Des Moines picked up their game, and
stiffened on defense keeping Truman out of the try zone
on several would-be scoring opportunities.

Des Moines are terrrific hosts, serving up home-made chili
for post-match.  In addition, theirs in one of the midwest's
finests facilities.
