On a beautiful spring day in Columbia, Mizzou wrapped up its
preparation for the Western Union Collegiate Championships
by beating Rockhurst out of Kansas City. In a game that was
at times quite sloppy, Missouri scored three tries in the
first 15 minutes and controlled the game from there.
Rockhurst, a first-year program, played with a lot of heart
and managed to get a try on the board just before half to
make the halftime score 26-5.
Mizzou's pack did a good job during much of the second half,
controlling the ball well and setting up two tries for prop
Ben Schroeder, who was playing his first full game.
Missouri will play New Mexico Highlands in the first round 
of Westerns Saturday.
