Outside Center Jim Quirk scored two first half-tries to 
stake Atlanta Old White to a 22-0 halftime lead which was 
extended to 29-5 after Flanker Bill Baker answered
a Charlotte score just minutes into the 2nd half. Charlotte
mounted an impressive comeback with three long tries, but 
ran out of time (and perhaps energy as many Charlotte 
players were playing in their second match on a very hot
day).
