Tyldesley opened their Courage League season with a comprehensive
29-18 victory. Skipper Dave Sivill led the way with two first half
scores. Centre Mark Swanton capped a fine game with another and
Steve Ashurst and Lee Cunliffe also chipped in with a try a piece.
Cumbrian visitors Upper Eden made a late comeback scoring 12 points 
in the middle of the second half but Cunliffe's try finished them
off with two minutes to go.
